Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DittoDex mobile application ("Service," "App," "we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using DittoDex, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use DittoDex. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you can form a binding contract with us.

3. Independent Status & Intellectual Property Notice

DittoDex is an independent application created by fans for collectors. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Nintendo, Creatures Inc., Game Freak, or The Pokémon Company International. All trademarks, logos, and copyrights relating to Pokémon are the property of their respective owners.

4. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to use certain features of DittoDex. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. User Content

DittoDex allows you to upload, store, and share information and images related to your Pokémon trading card collection ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant DittoDex a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use DittoDex to:

  • •Post illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
  • •Harass, abuse, or impersonate other users.
  • •Scrape, hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service.
  • •Upload spam, malware, or unauthorized advertising.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Purchases & Subscriptions

DittoDex may offer in-app purchases, including subscriptions and lifetime access.

  • •Billing: Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • •Refunds: All payments are subject to the policies of Apple and Google. DittoDex cannot issue refunds directly.
  • •Cancellation: You may manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

8. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use DittoDex. By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

9. Modifications to Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from such changes.

10. Termination

You may stop using DittoDex at any time. You may also request account and data deletion by going to Settings > Delete Account in the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect our Service or users.

11. Disclaimers

DittoDex is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the availability, reliability, or accuracy of the Service.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DittoDex and its creators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DittoDex and its creators from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses resulting from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

By using the Service, you agree that:

  • •Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
  • •You waive your right to a jury trial or to participate in class actions.
  • •These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of DittoDex after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
